Privacy Policy

To operate the service we store: Discord user IDs, server IDs, and channel IDs; episode metadata (title, description, publication date, audio duration); Discord CDN URLs pointing to audio files (not the audio files themselves); per-subscription feed tokens; and access logs consisting of IP address, timestamp, and user agent string from feed fetches.

Your Discord IDs are used solely to identify you, verify your channel permissions, and associate your subscriptions with your account. Episode metadata and CDN URLs are used to generate your private RSS feed. Access logs are used to detect abuse and enforce rate limits. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or profiling.

Access logs are pruned automatically on a configurable retention schedule (default: 30 days). Subscription and episode data is kept as long as the channel is active. You can delete all your data — subscriptions and associated access logs — at any time with /delete-data.

Audio files are served directly from Discord's CDN — we store the URLs, not the files. Beyond Discord, we share your data with no third parties. There are no analytics scripts, ad networks, tracking pixels, or cookies of any kind on this service.

Each subscription uses a 256-bit cryptographically random token. Access logs record IP addresses and timestamps but are not linked to Discord identities — the feed endpoint does not require authentication beyond the token itself. If your token is compromised, use /rotate to invalidate it immediately.

You can request deletion of all your data at any time via /delete-data. Server administrators can remove channels, which cancels all subscriptions to those channels. If you lose Discord permissions to a channel, your feed access is revoked automatically.

We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of Podcord after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We won't notify you individually.
